Social Network Added – Introducing A Fire Kindled Community

What is the point of getting online if not to connect with others? Social networking has become the buzz word for today’s technology movement. Everyone is finding new ways to connect with one another and form communities online.

We believe this is a positive movement and the way education will change in the coming years. So what better way to embrace and model that change than to create our own social network? Utilizing such a format allows us to engage in a dialogue with one another and allows teachers from all over to come together and discuss new ideas and find ways to implement them in real situations.

Anyone who is interested in furthering this discussion is invited to create a profile on our community site. Once you are there, you can join groups – or even form your own – that will discuss different topics (you can see members and groups in the right hand sidebar now). Within each group there are discussion forums, wikis, documents to share, even a blog if your group wants to publish ideas. There are more features coming soon like the ability to sign in with your Facebook account, media galleries, and more.

So go ahead and sign up for our Community now!
